Lawsuit Alleges Sexual Harassment by Skip Bayless and Others at Fox Sports

As a television commentator and newspaper columnist, Skip Bayless has been one of sports media’s most controversial figures for decades. Now, a lawsuit filed by a former co-worker could mean a lot more trouble for him and his bosses than a hot take about the Cowboys or LeBron James.

Former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji has a filed a lawsuit claiming that Bayless and others at the network committed various acts of sexual misconduct against her. In addition to Fox and Bayless, defendants include former executive Charlie Dixon and another host at the channel, Joy Taylor. The allegations span Faraji’s tenure at Fox Sports, where she worked between 2012 and 2024. According to the complaint, Faraji alleges that Bayless, who co-hosted “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed” from 2016 to August 2024, made an explicit offer of $1.5 million in exchange for sex. The lawsuit also claims that Bayless grabbed her hands and began kissing them before making the offer.

In her filing, Faraji details how the encounter with Bayless occurred during the same general timeframe as when she learned she might have cancer, intensifying her emotional distress. Allegations within the complaint go far beyond the Bayless incident, portraying Fox Sports as an environment where inappropriate sexual behavior was part of the everyday workplace culture.

Faraji points to a number of examples that depict a hostile and unsafe atmosphere for employees. She claims that network host Joy Taylor engaged in sexual relationships with network executive Charlie Dixon and on-air personality Emmanuel Acho as a way to advance her career at Fox.

As many of the parties named in the complaint have high public profiles, the litigation has received a great deal of media attention, as well as speculation as to whether changes within network programming could be attributed to personal relationships. Regardless of the outcome, this case demonstrates that serious allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment can erupt at any workplace.
